Workbook for Youth following President & Sister Nelson's Youth Devotional 2018

Wednesday, June 27, 2018

Hello! So, I currently serve in the YW Presidency in my ward. I make a little monthly newsletter for our girls, flyers, etc. I'm no professional by any means, but I have really enjoyed creating some things to help the YW in my ward! And I thought I would share, in case there's anyone out there in similar callings looking for graphics to help in their wards.

I've also always appreciated when someone out there posts lesson helps or something on a blog. So I wanted to do the same! Even if it just helps one person.

So following the AMAZING youth devotional that President Nelson gave to the youth, my YW president felt inspired to make a little booklet with his 5 challenges and questions and journal space. That way they could be more accountable and it would help them follow these challenges and really think about them.

So she thought up the great questions and layout and asked me to design it! I'm really happy with what I came up with. It's a bit more feminine because of the floral cover, but I bet the YM could use it too. :)

HERE is the link to download! If you have any issues, just email me at kaycie.eddie@gmail.com.

It's designed to be printed as is and then to be trimmed a bit on the edges (though you could get away with not doing so if you want). And then folded in half and stapled in the middle! And then there are also some "weird" badges in the word document that are the right size to just be cut out and attached right into the booklet.

I'd love to hear if you use it or enjoy it!

Back to Blogging

A small handful of you reading may remember back in the day when I had a blog. There were some fun memories from our newlywed days captured in that blog. But for the most part, that blog was pretty silly and I'm a little embarrassed over it. Hence it is private and no one can see it anymore.

But now I have the sweetest little baby! See?

And there are some stories and memories that are too long for Instagram and Facebook, you know what I mean?

So here's to a new, fun way to document our lives. And maybe it'll be just our family reading it. We'll see if they even read it, ha! But I love reading about other people online, so I thought I'd share our little life.
